Sony Online Entertainment's DC Universe Online debuted beforehand this ages for Sony PlayStation 3 and Windows PCs -- and those who best up the bold ability be attractive for an bend to actual in this massively multiplayer online (MMO) world.

So, Bold Hunters enlisted the advice of bold administrator Chris Cao, who gave us a scattering of tips over the buzz to arrive the bold for beginners.

Not your typical MMO. One thing to keep in mind when you boot up DCUO: This is an action game in a MMO setting, so there are some fundamentals you need to know. A typical MMO has a lot of turn-based combat and strategy, but you'll need to be quicker in our game. You'll need combos, blocking, breaking out, weapons, and other skills to master. MMO players need to learn combat to master the game -- but it's not a button masher either. When you choose your combos, learn them well, and you'll do fine.

Most important button. The R1 button on the PS3 controller (or Shift on keyboard) is the most important to learn: Block. You'll not only take less damage, in some cases you'll break your opponent's combo and knock them to the ground and stun them. By blocking, you'll be able to turn the tables and switch the momentum of the fight. If you stick deflect while blocking, or use WASD keys on a PC, you'll dodge out of the way. You need to use these universal defenses to do well in DCUO.

Fight smart. Load out the right abilities for the right situation. You can only take out 6 cards, though you'll choose from many dozens, so choose your card well. For example, some characters can choose a skill that lowers someone else's ability to be healed, which could be very valuable. It's a potion of sorts, that also crowd-controls them, stuns them. Also, use each other's abilities. If I'm a gadgets guy, for example, and I ignite someone on fire, my ally who can control fire can do more damage, such as detonate them or spread that fire to someone else.

Know your DC. Boss fights in-game are based on their DC characters, so if you know Supergirl's abilities and weaknesses are, you'll do better, such as knowing she's got heat vision or freeze breath and is vulnerable to kryptonite. Dr. Psycho, on the other hand, has mental powers and can create multiple copies of himself -- or go into stealth mode. So, if you know the strengths and weaknesses of these characters, you'll have more fun and will help you, too. If you don't know these characters and take a licking, learn from your mistakes.

Make friends. The more friends you have in the game, the better -- be it for races, group battles, raiding, and so forth. It's fun by itself, too but it's much better with more. Sign up for various in-game events, make those connections, because that's where the power comes from. Even having one other friend is a huge benefit. Two is better than one -- especially on a PvP server. Plus, players can join leagues, and much more. It's a MMO, so be sure to band with others.
